Hello! π β If youβre newer to Alpharetta (or youβve been here awhile but want to understand the town beyond the usual highlights), the Bailey-Johnson School & Community Exhibit is worth your time. On view at the Community Gallery inside Alpharetta City Hall, this historical photography exhibit tells the story of the Bailey-Johnson School β the only high school for Black students in the area during the 1950s and 60s. β β Through archival images and community history, the exhibit offers a grounded look at local Black education, family life, and the networks that supported students across North Fulton County. Itβs a meaningful reminder that Alpharettaβs story didnβt start with mixed-use developments β it was built by people, neighborhoods, and shared perseverance. β βThe City of Alpharetta and the Old Milton County Historical Society are hosting a screening of the documentary in two locations:
β πAlpharetta, Arts Center, 238 Canton st. Alpharetta, GA 30009 πFeb 21, 1:00PM

Itβs inside Ponce City Market, so your weekend plan is basically: walk everywhere, eat everything, and pretend youβre an βAtlanta person.β
