Yesterday Sherwin Williams announced its color of the year.....drumroll 🥁 contain your enthusiasm now, the Sherwin Williams Color Of The Year (COTY) izzzzzzzzzz Universal Khaki SW 6150. Let's not all swoon at once. A bit underwhelming, right???!

I pulled this color out of my paint swatches to see it in real life. It has a very green undertone to it. But, in Sherwin Williams' promo material for the color, it looks more pinky/beige. Eeeew.
​

Basically the color taupe that has curdled with green/gray mold.
If they were trying to warm up the stark raving mad white that has been so overdone the past 15 years. I have better means, methods and mettle to do that.

Musicians, farm animals no longer useful to their

masters are fearful of being killed and flee together to Bremen, where

they find purpose as musicians. Bremen has its own sculpture of the animal

musicians, and tradition says that rubbing the donkey’s feet brings luck.

Sirlin incorporated this idea, in the form of touchstones, particular areas

on the animals’ bodies designed to be touched by viewers.
