Spring is starting to show up for real—farmers markets are (almost) back, daffodils are doing their thing, and yes, we’re already debating parking in downtown Roswell again.

This week leans a little more intentional than packed: a legit comedy headliner, a standout live music set, and a few reasons to actually get out during the day. How's your Sweet Sixteen bracket going? 🏀 Our family still has the Duke for the men in the game and North Carolina's Women are still going strong.

Savannah Music Festival

Drive Time: ~4 to 4.5 hours from Alpharetta (easy straight shot down I-16 once you’re past Macon)

Where to Stay:

Historic District (best overall): walkable to venues, restaurants, and squares
The DeSoto Savannah – central, reliable, good for first-timers
Perry Lane Hotel – more design-forward, rooftop energy, great for a girls’ trip or couples
Airbnb in the Historic District – ideal for families or groups who want space

Family-Friendly?
Yes—with a caveat. The festival itself leans more adult / music-focused, but Savannah as a destination is very family-friendly:

daytime exploring (Forsyth Park, riverfront, trolley tours)
casual dining everywhere
flexible schedule (you don’t have to build the whole trip around concerts)
