🍀 Green Beer, Garden Beds & Irish Luck
Published 22 days ago • 8 min read
Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek & Roswell Events: Mar 12 – Mar 18
Hey Neighbors,
Some weeks the world feels a little heavy, doesn’t it? The kind of week where you briefly wish there were a big red button labeled pause. Since that doesn’t exist, the next best thing might be doing something small and local—seeing some live music, wandering a park, or raising a glass of green beer with friends.
Lucky for us, Alpharetta has a few of those options this week.
P.S. My current carbonated beverage obsession: Olipop's Peaches & Cream. I’m also still chasing the Shirley Temple flavor I found last month. Small pleasures matter.

Answer revealed at the bottom see The Fadeout section! 👇
Spring doesn’t always require a full decorating overhaul. Sometimes a room just needs a small personality boost after winter. One easy refresh is introducing animal-motif décor—a sculptural bird, playful pillow, or framed animal illustration—to add charm without overwhelming the space. The trick is restraint: one standout piece and a couple of subtle echoes keep things feeling styled instead of themed. Pair these accents with lighter textures like linen and soft spring colors, and suddenly the room feels awake again.
A-Side Tip: One well-placed decorative animal is charming. A whole zoo… less so.

Sometimes the best plan is pointing the car south until the air smells like saltwater.
📍 Better By The Beach — WaterColor, FL 164 Red Cedar Way, WaterColor, FL
Just off Florida’s scenic Highway 30A, Better By The Beach sits inside the charming WaterColor community where life tends to revolve around bikes, beach walks, and slow Gulf sunsets. The neighborhood is known for its laid-back coastal vibe—tree-lined paths, pastel cottages, and easy access to some of the most beautiful white-sand beaches in the country. Days here are simple: morning coffee on the porch, an afternoon ride along the coastal bike trail, and dinner at one of the nearby 30A cafés before watching the sky turn pink over the water.
🚗 Drive Time from Alpharetta: about 5.5–6 hours
Why It’s Worth the Trip: Sugar-white beaches, charming coastal towns, and that unmistakable 30A pace where the hardest decision of the day might be beach walk or bike ride.
